Please join hawk enthusiast Jim Meyers and his wife, Joanne Dintzis an experienced birder, as we watch for and count migrating broad-winged hawks and help you with in-flight identification. You will also learn more about these birds of prey and their migration. All levels of raptor fans are welcome!

Jim will share our hawk count findings with the Hawk Migration Association of North America in support of their important work in the study and protection of raptors and their habitats.

Bring: We will have a spotting scope set up but please bring binoculars if you have them; sun hat/sunscreen; water; and folding chairs if you would like.

Cost: $15 per person. Please register and prepay to attend.

A volunteer is needed to assist with the sign-in and accepting payment. If you would like to volunteer to help with this event the $15 cost is waived. Please contact Emily at eglaeser@marylandnature.org for more information.
