Nature Connections: Migrations -- Birds, Butterflies, and Buteos

  • 12 Nov 2017
  • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • 6908 Belair Road

Please join the Natural History Society for our free Nature Connections program on migration on Sunday November 12! We have some pretty amazing guest experts joining us this day. Kathleen Woods, from the Phoenix Wildlife Center, and some of her amazing staff are going to bring in a live bird and will be talking about the migration of songbirds, butterflies, and hawks.

Lindsey Jacks, from Lights Out Baltimore will also join us to talk about the amazing work her organization does to make Baltimore safe for migratory birds.

The event is from 1pm to 3pm. Feel free to stay the entire time or just jump in for a few minutes! This will be a really fun event devoted to some of our migratory species and you will learn about what you can do to help them out in their journeys!
