In this beginners' bird watching field trip to Lake Roland we will cover basic bird watching strategies and the ID-ing process. We will also keep our eyes peeled for other wildlife along the way during this peaceful morning stroll!

What to bring: Bring your field guides and binoculars. Let’s learn together!

Location: Lake Roland [We will meet in the light rail parking lot. A map will be sent to attendees the Friday before our field trip.]

Our leader, Chrissy Fichter is a Maryland Master Naturalist and lover of all things nature.

Chrissy, like most of the other people who lead NHSM field trips, is a volunteer, so your money will go directly to support the programs, the nature collections, and the building that make this kind of nature education possible.
