Field Trip: Archaeology Club's First Excavation

Archaeology Club is planning their first excavation!! DATE CHANGE: Sunday, November 24th. The time is 9 a.m. to 3. p.m. This one day dig is to define the parameters of the site, dig some shovel test pits, and, eventually put up a historical marker in conjunction with the Baltimore City Environmental Police.

To sign up, you must be a member of both NHSM and the Archaeology Club.  And there is a $10 participation fee which goes towards equipment and supplies. Limit to 12 participants, so register fast! Each participant would be encouraged to pack in their own lunch.  The location is in Parkville, MD. More details will be supplied to those Archaeology Club members who register.
