Come to our Volunteer Informational Gathering on Wednesday, February 19th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for some light fare and a discussion about how to volunteer with us! The Natural History Society of Maryland is calling upon you, our members, to plug in. As you know, we are a mostly volunteer run organization, and it is you all that keep us going. From supporting an artist with a nature-inspired craft at Nature Connections, to being the trusty sidekick to a field trip leader, and much much more, come join us on February 19th to discuss how we can strengthen our community together!

The night will be broken up into 3 parts:

  1. Schmooze and snack to get us settled into the evening and get to know each other a little bit.
  2. General Presentations by each Natural History Society Program about what their specific volunteer needs are, along with an overview of their program.
  3. Splitting off by program in order to sign up for upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. You can talk with more than one program!

Please enter the Natural History Society of Maryland Building from the front entrance from 6908 Bel Air Road. We will get started with the second part of the program by 7 PM.

Thank you for your interest and investment in the Natural History Society of Maryland! We are excited to spend some time with you and strengthen our organization together!

If you have any questions, please email Vanessa at vlubiner@marylandnature.org.
