For this month’s meeting, the NHSM Herp Club is hitting the great outdoors. Join us, along with Amanda Glassco from NeighborSpace, for an evening walk through Volz Neighborhood Park, a 14-acre forested area near Pulaski Hwy in eastern Baltimore County. We’ll explore the park together and observe various species of herps, keeping track of what we find.

The entrance to the park is 9827 Ravenhurst Rd (see map below). We’ll meet there at 7 PM, and you can leave whenever you like. You do not need to be a club member to attend, but please RSVP. Email the club coordinator (mfalk@marylandnature.org) with any questions or concerns.

Are you fascinated by reptiles and amphibians? The Natural History Society of Maryland’s Herp Club promotes the proper husbandry, conservation, study, and appreciation of reptiles and amphibians. Amateurs, professionals, and kids of all ages are welcome. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month and are open to the public.

Membership to NHSM is required to join any of our clubs. NHSM membership is $35 for individuals, $50 for families; Herp Club membership is an additional $5 for individuals and $10 for families annually.https://www.marylandnature.org/club-membership/
